him say the "N" word all the time. To him EVERY black person is an "N" word. He will be nice in their face when they are in the business but as soon as they walk out the door he starts talking crap about how much of a N they are. He also says that every hispanic/latin person is a Mexican. My son is half Puerto Rican and he says that he is Mexican. I get really pissed off & tell him to shut up & I also tell him that its rude for him to say the racial slurs that he uses but he doesnt care.

I told him today after hearing him say, "I hate "N"'s" for the tenth time that he needs to stop $ all he has to say is that I always stick up for anyone with any color on their skin & that I will barely talk to white people that come in but that I always talk to black people. He is such an A$$HOLE! I treat everyone the same & if I dont like someone I dont talk to them at all. I wont be nice & then call them names when they walk away.

MY QUESTION is what can I do legally? Cont. below...

I HAVE to work there for now but believe me I am searching for something else. I want to be able to report him in some anonymous way that may get him in enough trouble that he will stop. He can think what he wants to but his employees shouldnt be subjected to his racist remarks.

By the way, only white people work there. Oh and he owns the business BUT he represents a brand so I could report it to them but who knows what they will do.

I wish I could think of a way to set him up but them again he says it so much he would never know if he slipped and said it in front of someone he doesnt want to hear it.

He has already been caught once when he thought he hung up after calling a business he deals with and called the woman a "N". He had to go in front of a board of people but it never affected his business at all (a second business not related to my job) and he thinks its funny.

AND he thinks any woman who dates outside her race deserves to be abused by that man. *SIGH* What is wrong with people?

There are many ways you can help this situation. First of all I want to tell you how special you are by not kissing up to your boss. Some people or employees would do anything to please their boss. This world is very grateful to have you in it.

You may want to ask your boss have any African-Americans offended him in some way? If so, you made want to suggest that he contact the N.A.A.C.P. or you many want to contact them and see what advice they can give you. You don't have to tell them your name and where you work, but honestly I can't but help to think that he is very uneducated and unloving person

You have to decide according to your own intentions. If you feel a need to really communicate with him go to the book store and purchase books on Martin Luther King and/or anything regards slavery.

You may want to find a better job where you can work with quality people. People who are more into community respect of race, religion, creed, sexual preference, and yes color. Don't allow your boss to keep you frustrated because it is not healthy for you. Sadly, we both know that racism acts in different ethnic groups.

The most action to really help your boss is to pray for him.

I think you a wonderful giving person. Even if you face racism
by a black person, don't bow down to any hatred. All people are different. You should know because you have a wonderful heart.

Whether you report him or not that does not change who he is. If he looses his job then will he only be a racist with out a job, Have you ever seen the movie Fall in Down. If he keeps his job does that mean the company feels the same way. This is really a no end situation for yourself . All you really can do is learn from this situation, knowing that you never want to be like that to anyone. Really until you can do better, that's all you can do. You never know his first wife could have had an affair w/ the Mexican Gardner then took off for good with the black limo driver, and know he has to work for a living dealing with each and everyone of US. Smile only to know that life does travel a full 360.

You could report him to the brand he works for you could report him to the local news or black community but only if you make like a recording or a few of his racist remarks other wise it would come down to your word vs his so get some evidence but keep in mind that if you report him you more then likely will get fired and you will have problems at any other place you work so keep that in mind before you try anything (think they would have to know your name to take complain seriously) so its unpleasant but maybe if you can deal with it and get out of there would be for the best cause it could mess up your work life to do anything

Report him anyway and let the chips fall where they may. That is the only way you can stop cowards like him. I am with you. When I don't like someone I don't have to associate with them. I have to love them but I don't have to be a glutton for punishment. The Word of God does not tell me I have to be. He is a closet racist. Report him and I'll bet the work place will have a much better atmosphere. May God Bless U.

Wow---you are really in a bad position! I am white also, but never use or believe racially derogatory terms!

I think you have to go above him, to the franchise (?) office, tell them what is happening. They are bound by law to protect your anonymity!
Trust me----even if he doesn't say stuff in front of people, his contempt for them SHOWS!! And the head office (or whatever) would NOT like it one bit!
You know what you have to do---stand up for what you believe in, and report this scumbag!

Honestly..yeah you could report him, but that is who he is! You cannot change the man, if your gonna stay there, know that this is something your gonna have to put up with, he can get fined, go to jail..which will only make his racist ways worse, or you can simply move on..Id say move on. He ain't gonna change. We live in a colorful world, but in reality..not everyone is gonna love one another..Don't you know that by now?

The only thing you can do is get another job. If he pays well and isn't discriminating in business it is his company and he can be as big an A--- as he wishes. Hope you find a new job soon.

I really don't know if it will stick but i would bring one of those recorders that only come on when your talking and i would record the stuff that he says and report his tail to the EEOC because if your uncomfortable with the way he talks around you that's harassment.

Being a racist is not illegal, its just stupid.

If he does that he will suffer in the long run by losing bussiness opportunities.

I would not worry about what language he uses but if you find a better job elsewhere, I'd go for it.

You won't find happiness working with that kind of idiot. Start looking for a new job. I don't think you have to do anything legally. It's just his way... Just don't work there. And ask yourself, can he ever be a happy man?
