Should your husband throw away pictures of his ex-girlfriends if they are scantily clad, or topless, or naked? Or should he be allowed to keep relics (in a photo album, or as pictures on the computer) of past relationships as they are in the past?
If it bothers you does it mean you are insecure? Or is it alright to think it is in appropriate and disrespectful to you the wife.

Regular pictures, no problem - scantily clad - no. That is very disrespectful to the wife!

I think it has a little bit to do with being insecure, my husband had pictures of his ex wife that were put up in box and in storage, if we never had cleaned the storage out they would of stayed there for who knows how long, i really didnt give a hoot, i left the pictures in the box and put them back up, and they are still in storage, i could care less cause it was way before me, pictures are of memories and i would never want him to tell me i had to throw away pictures of any of my friends or ex boyfriends, pictures with nudity i could care less about also, i know my husband loves me, i know who he comes home to everynight so its a personal choice to decide whether to throw pictures away, i think if they are put up and not in sight everyday then it shouldnt be a problem , maybe im crazy, i just wouldnt want someone to tell me to throw away my memories whether they are good or bad.

I think that every relationship is different. My husband and I both agreed that we didn't really care to see pics of each others ex's. So in the dump they went. I do think that naked pics of any one other then you would be a big no no.

Those types of pictures are completely inappropriate to have lying around as "relics" in any relationship, especially a marriage. Besides that, it is very tacky and distasteful.

of course he should. i do not think it is insecurity at all, in fact, it is more like self preservation. What he has are memories of these women, and to see pictures of them only brings up these memories. No one can compare how we are day to day to memories of hot passionate sex. I am sorry, but if I remember something, I usually remember the best parts of it. He is looking at you at your worst every day, before you brush your teeth, on the toilet, whatever. how can we compare to the best memories? that is rediculous, and he should have either thrown them out along time ago or never shown you to begin with.

I still have pictures of ex boyfriends because it is past memories and trips, weddings etc... I think that is ok and he is fine with that. However, I think naked pictures are totally inapproriate. Get rid of them!

Yes, he should get rid of all pictures and if he didn't then I would get rid of them myself. Why would a man want pictures of ex girlfriends. I believe that it is disrespectful to the wife.

My husband has pictures of his ex wife - buried somewhere. They are my stepson's mom so I wouldn't expect him to throw them out. He had a few pictures of his old girlfriends that had to go though. I have my first wedding pictures somewhere too.

i think that normal pictures are ok to keep. however, topless or otherwise, is a definite no no. i would be pissed if i found pictures my hubby was keeping around. well, if he knew that he had them. sometimes people misplace things or don't even remember they have them.

It wouldn't bother me, as long as he's not sitting around looking at them all the time. He married me, so they must not have meant too much to him.
