OK! Here in Detroit, gas has been going down-it was $1.77 today when I went to work. I came home 7 hours later and the same place was $1.96!! How can they do that and what is going on???Is it up and down like that where you are?

Actually, that isn't the oil company, that's the gas dealer doing that. Meanwhile, oil prices fluctuate on the strangest pieces of news. Your gas station in Detroit, there, is basically daring you to find somewhere else. He knows that, while you might, enough won't to make the higher price worth his while.

IT'S THE same here in England our utilities bills are all over the place.We are stung with daily charges from parking to every aspects of our lives we are in a whirl with charges, we just pay up because we don't know our rights anymore it changes every day. Now in this country the biggest ordeal facing us at the moment is the BIG BROTHER issue...RACISM "OH the old rugged cross ............

OMG your lucky....NYS taxes the hell out of us and because of that its $2.45!!!!!!!!! And yes, it does the same thing here. Not too long ago I went to work at 6am gas was $2.39. On the way home at 7pm it was $2.42. Next day going to work at 6am it was $2.49. Amazing how they can just keep ripping us off............

HOLY!!! usually its more up there than it is here (texas). Its 1.99 here today.. hopefully ours doesnt go up tonight... I've seen gas stations do that though- they control most americans so... they can pretty much do what they want!

Yeap they know we need gas and they know we will pay whatever we need for it. It will really go up this summer when its vacation time. In my town it always goes up when its close to a holiday too.

It was a$1.99 here today, it's the lowest I have seen gas in a while. Amarillo, Tx.

Hi I live in L.A. and yes they are just as bad and the co. do not care about us plus in my area the gas costs 2.45 for the cheepest.
