I know the Orioles still do, I believe most of them do, I doubt the Orioles are your favorite team but this is an example. The link was last years but if you wait about a month or two your team may announce their tryouts.

I don't think so. Some might, but I have never heard of it. They might have like a fantasy camp or a developmental type thing in south america, but just to open the doors and watch every shmo that walks in? I doubt it.
That's more of a soccer thing I think.

One must be invited to spring training to attend tryouts. Normally, mlb teams extend lots of invitations to see if a surprise will emerge.
