ok, well I tried for over 3 years and nothing. Once you try for over 13 months, your doctor will see you, but most women take that long or longer to get pregnant

The first thing I would do is to start charting your fertility signs (if you aren't already). Get a copy of the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Wexler. By tracking your fertility signs (basal body temperature, cervical fluid and position), you can sometimes get an idea of what the problem might be. The book will give you a lot more info about possible things that are problems. It will also help you figure out whether you are timing intercourse properly.
I would talk to a reproductive endocrinologist. You can talk to your OB/GYN, but my friends who have had to do fertility treatments have said that it's best to just go to an RE first, because they will often have to repeat any hormone tests etc. that they had done by their OB/GYN. Depending on how old you are, the RE may want you to chart and keep trying unassisted for a few more months. The RE can do hormone tests and figure out if there is an imbalance. He/she will also recommend that your partner have a sperm analysis to make sure that there isn't a problem from his end. You would be surprised at how many infertility cases are due to male factor- about a third!
Good luck!

This will definetly ease your mind a little. I would NEVER give up I've been trying for 6 years YES 6 years!!!!!!! Nothing happened I got so sick of it and almost gave up and here I am 12 weeks along it's the most amazing thing. 7 months is nothing to be getting worried about just do everything you can and I'm sure things will work out for you!
Good Luck!

I've been ttc for 2 1/2 years and nothing. See a Dr. to determine if there are any other problems.

If you're over the age of 35 you should consult a doc. Otherwise, just keep trying for 5-11 more months before consulting a doctor. After I had an early miscarriage it took 12 months to get pregnant again (I'm 27 yo)

Sometimes it takes time to get pregnant! It took me 3 years to get pregnant with my daughter! I suggest going to the dr and getting checked out along with whoever you are trying to conceive with! There could be a number of things wrong or nothing at all! It's just a big mistery!

I've been trying for 6 years. and nothing.
If nothing happens after 12 months, give the doc a call.
They'll do an internal and some bloodwork.

i know that it can be really frustrating, emotionaly draining, & even depressing. i know this from experience. me & my husband tried for 11 1/2 months. we finally got pregnant with twins, & i lost them at 10 weeks. we've been trying again for almost 4 months & still nothing. i'm still young so i'm not worried that anythihg is wrong, but it can be very difficult to accept that it takes some people longer than others. just keep trying like i am. i'll pray for you ok.
