My husband sometimes gets upset at my openness saying not everybody needs to know everything - usually in situations he does not appear perfect - but I just say if you were ashamed, you shouldn't have done it. I have much I regret but don't care if it is shared. If venting helps you work through your emotions on your own, then. But then again I get upset when he tells other people stuff about me he doesn't like, but usually because he doesn't talk to me about it directly.

Yes he would.. to an extent my husband seems to be like Jill M's.

He does not like my openess, and thinks some things should be private and not shared with anyone, not even strangers. To some extent it is because he thinks he is perfect, and for him, it implies that he is not perfect (with questions that I have asked).

With answers that I have given, he could most likely careless.

Most likely, I have at least a couple questions/answers that he would NOT be happy about.

But such if life at times, and sometimes you have to talk to someone not involved in the situation to get a better view of what to do or how to handle it.

Nope - the day I have to start watching what I say, is the day I tell them to leave. I like to be honest - I don't want to have to remember who said what to whom!
