I see you already have your answer. It was Carey who was fired. He designed a real "gay" looking (according to Trump) swim suit and modeled it. Only one person on the team was against the suit. I don't know who should have been fired, but....at least Carey designed something.
Carey is the African-American man who is openly gay.
