Indian music? I can help you....I love Ravi Shankar, every single song he plays are magic...then, recently i've discovered the Vanayakram Brothers with Jonas Hellborg on acoustic bass (an awesome bass player) and with the late Shawn Lane, a very obese but wonderful electric guitar player who can make his guitar sing like a sitar....u can look for the video, a concert they had at Paris, France on a bar, i think it was the year 2002... then of course, John Mclaughlin with his Shakti band, an all-Indian group, John is the only Briton in there but they play wonderful Indian music with a taste of Western jazz-rock influence....! go get them!
