Besides a white or black shirt or sweater, what other colors would look good with a red skirt for winter? I'm drawing a fashion blank. Any ideas for subdued or classic (as opposed to a bright "tropical") look?

Hmm, I'd go with a beige/white top possibly with a brown blazer or sweater on top :) very classic looking

Well fer me if ur talkin bout red bottoms then i'd go wit a white top and if ur talkin bout a red top then i'd go wit black, white, or low cut jeans.

If you have a red skirt try pink with pink accessories. I love the colors together.

the sailor look or whatever its called is coming in style so it would be super cute to get like whites and navys with like a anchor on them with gold jewelry or like earrings of asnchors with like sperry topsiders. may sound ugly to you but sounds cute to me
