If the square root of x is 0, then 0^2 is 0. 0-(2)=(-2). Therefore, (-2) is the only possible answer.
Since y = x, then y is also (-2), so the only point you will be plotting is (-2, -2). This is in the second quadrant (upper left quadrant). The second one up and to the left of the vertical axis.
