What whould you consider a prep?

No a prep to me is normally associated with East Coast but they are EVERYWHERE who shops at Abercrombie& Fitch,Hollister,Gap,Buckle,AE etc....
They also like Kate Spade...light greens and light pinks....some are snobby....come from money most of the time.....fav sports: Tennis,Volleyball and Softball. In band...listen to Coldpay,Radiohead,indie...POP,wear headbands and ponytails.....Havianas sandals and white shoes.......letterman jackets.............basically the all american nowadays..drives the SUV while talking on the cell phone while trying to get Marc Broussard out of the disc player on their way to Starbucks before stopping at the library and ticketmaster for their The Fray tickets.....wow I must know some preps huh? :P
I call them Yuppies around here though............

hmmmmmm.... well... whenever i hear the word prep, my mind automatically goes towards the color pink. every color of pink. blah! Besides that, 99% of them are rich, and they think they're better than everone else and act like it. They buy whatever they're friends are buying(by the way they have lots of friends) The are on the same sports teams as their friends. They're the kinda people who would go out with the jocks and the popular bullies. They wear lots of Aeropostle, and Abercrombie and Fitch, and Hollister and blah blah blah. They're the kinda people that if they were blind folded, and led into Hot Topic, they would be wearing Victoria's Secret PINK brand clothing, and when they walked into Hot Topic the whole store would get dead quiet and stare. And when they saw inside Hot Topic for the first time they would say "what is this place!, is it like a dungeon or something?" yes, this has happened before my friend, sadly enough. By the way just because u wear hollister or similar once in a while isn't the only that would make u a prep.They also only listen to rap crap that their friends are listening to, and they listen to a lot of pop music. They're the kinda people that would make goths and punks want to puke. WELL i think that sums it up.

A prep is somebody who wears polo shirts almost every day of the week. The logo has to be Abercrombie, Lilly, Hollister, or Lacoste. If they wore the same exact polo, but it said GAP in the corner they would never wear it. Preps love to wear really bright ribbon belts. They love jeans, mini skirts, and Uggs. Mini skirts with Uggs in the winter is very "in." They love J.Crew flip flops and and Eliza B. flip flops. They straighten their hair everyday for school. That would be my defenition of a prep.

Someone who wears the Letterman's coats, is popular and hangs out with the other popular kids. Most of them are mean, but some of them nice. Like good and evil. If I were a notch higher on the popularity train, I would be the nice prep. Not the mean one.

Some people would consider preps mean, pretty, popular, and selfish. At my school I consider preps as goody- goodies, popular, pretty, and sometimes nice. (they are mostly popular b/c people think they're cool)
