Apparently, there is a double standard when it comes to the United States and the rest of the world; to wit: do as I say, not as I do.

Hey Bren...we can change what we dont like here in America?? We, the majority of the people have been against the war in Iraq for the past 1.5yrs and now our almighty leader is sending more troops over there with approx 70% of America opposing it....things that make you go hmmmmm....

Where would you rather live? In the USA or China?
In the USA we can change what we dont like. Try that in China.

Because he deft when it comes to himself. All kind of laws he dictates are for the "others" but not for himself. Example: environmental laws.
