How do I get camtasia studio to record only audio?

You can actually just EXPORT the audio from one of the menu options. I'm sorry I forgot what it was. so just don't make any screen movements.

Alternatively, if you just want recorded audio and you have a microphone, download audacity, the free and really cool audio program.

You can only record audio while recording the screen.

When you set up a new project follow the recording wizard. One screen has the option to record audio while recording the screen.
