It would really depend on the context as far as level of concern... However, it's in bad taste even if it is a joke, and should be brought to his attention. If then he doesn't stop, that really is a red flag.

Well i would assume that if he is your fiance you have known him for quite a while and w/ that said you would know what type of person he is and whether or not you should take his actions seriously or not.

No one can tell you if you should be concerned or not because no one knows your situation. When i say "no one" i mean none of us answerers but what you should do is maybe talk to a close friend who does happen to know a lil' more about your life.

I have a feeling that by you even asking this question you are a lil' concerned and if that's correct then maybe you should really think things through before actually marrying this guy.

I wish you the best of luck and please don't ever settle for less. I don't know you personally but i still wish you the best ;-)

Not at all, and if you have to ask, why are you engaged to him? If my fiance put a pillow over my face I wouldn't be concerned in the slightest because I know him well enough to know he'd never hurt me and to know that he would only ever do it jokingly.

Let me tell you like this if your gut intuition tells you to be concerned then you should. Sometimes we think we know someone and we really don't. There are people that have been married for years and their mate has done something that they thought they would never in a million years do. So if feel something is not right follow that. If you think if was just a joke then let it go.

Unless he used excessive force and/or held the pillow down for a long enough time where you felt threatened then I would not worry about it...he just was playing with you.
If he DID...then stay away from him and beak up!

Depends on why he did it. Were you talking too much, snoring, something else? If he says he did it jokingly, and he's your fiance, than it probably was nothing more than that. If he pushed hard and pressed on it, break it off.

I wouldn't worry too much...He might have just been playing. My boyfriend will do the same occasionally. As long as he's not pushing in down to the point you can't breath, I wouldn't worry. I'd be concerned only if you couldn't breathe for a certain amount of time or if he hurt you when he was doing it. I hope this helps.

:-)

Jokingly put a gun in his face and tell him if he ever jokingly put another pillow in your face to the point that you are concerned that you will put the gun in his face and make sure he is concerned. Jokingly of course.

As long as he didn't sit on it and you're alive to post this question I think you will be OK. But I wouldn't sleep with both eyes closed if I were you. I'd sleep without pillows just to be safe.

Yes, you should be concerned. If he does it as a joke, then he is likely to do it in a fit of anger as well. Even hitting in a playful mood, exhibits a tendency to be violent when angry.
