Twilight and New Moon by Stephanie Meyer
Marley and Me by Josh Grogan (if you are at all fond of dogs, this book is really cute)
The Young Wizards Series by Diane Duane is REALLY good, and the online community for the books has some of my best online friends in it, because we're all just such like minded people
Faerie Wars by Herbie Brennan
I read a lot of books-this is just a small sampling of my favorites. Hope you find some good ones somewhere!
