Sure, I just spent 20 minutes outside shoveling the snow today. I should probably say though that I don't like shoes much and go barefoot as often as I can. I think if I were to take my shoes off today and walk outside I'd get cold feet, but since I've been conditioned to go barefooting all the time and gradually got used to the colder temps I can do this. I'm curious as to how long I can extend my tolerances.

Yes, I've even worked in the snow all day barefoot, it's great. Keep the rest of your body very warm and it does take some training too -if you've never barefooted outside in the cold and you go out in the snow you're probably going to hurt. But now I'm used to it my feet rarely get cold or numb anymore! I used to get cold feet inside shoes, I remember from my teenage days I'd come inside wearing boots and my feet would feel like my toes were just loose little rocks in front of the boot... and they'd hurt real bad warming up... but not anymore. Circulation works better when barefoot than when a foot is enclosed in a shoe.

Sure! Hey, when you pretty much live bf all the time it's inevitable! Usually just for short times like going to the car for something when snow's on the ground, or when nekkid and heading out back to the hot tub, stuff like that. Kind of fun if you don't overdo it!

I used to do it quite a lot. I'd always go out to get the morning paper for my father, who was an invalid. I never wear houseslippers. My feet are pretty calloused on the bottom so they usually didn't feel too cold! Of course my dad would always scold me for going out like that. I should also mention that I usually just went out in my robe, too! I'm not the sharpest crayon in the box!
