In "Eragon" does the dragon talk? I know she does in the book, but none of the trailers showed it in the movie

Yeah, I was a little confused at first cause I thought it was voiced by Rachel Weisz and yet when I watched the trailers, the dragon only made dragon noises. So I was thinking, "Cool, you've managed to get an Academy Award winner to do dragon noises..."

Later, I found out from a friend who've actually seen the movie that the dragon does talk, but it only communicates telepathically with its rider, Eragon.

Yes, Saphira does talk in the movie. When she hatches she is so cute. You really should see this movie if you liked the book!
