It was a failure in that the Rightards didn't get the support they wanted.
It was a success in making a three ring circus out of a tragedy. The tragedy being that this gal got brain-damaged trying to make herself skinny like a model. Women deserve better than what this corporatocracy has handed us.

So horribly botched, most of Americans belived the government should have stayed out of it all together. Of course after that all these republican scandals started coming out

Liberals forget that Jesse Jackson was also against the euthenasia of Terri Schiavo. He protested her being put to death against her family's will along with the other "neo cons". The truth is, Terri didn't die peacefully in her sleep, like they all claimed she would when being starved and thirsted to death. She died awake, gasping for air.

They SUCCEEDED in politicizing.
Being honest, I think IT SHOULD have been a political thing.
There were many serious issues involved. Its scary on either
side of the issue.
