210 - not fat? on what planet?

First of all you need to get a grip on reality. Unless you are extremely tall and work out so all of that 210 lbs is nothing but muscle - - you have to be a bit on the chubby side - don't you think. If you don't think so you need to look in a full length mirror.

Second, you need to try just ordering salads when you go. Or if there is something on the menu you don't like order that. Or maybe you can try ordering the same thing everyday for each meal. It may get a bit boring after a while. That my keep you from endulging so often.

It is very difficult to stop eating so much of what you really like to eat, but there are some steps you can take.

First of all, if you already have some medical problems that require that you eat a certain diet, then you want to make sure that you stay with the diet that is best for you.

You might want to do some research into the benefits of healthy eating habits, as well as how bad eating habits (fast food) can harm your body over time.

You may want to explore some ways of making the foods you like to eat, healthier. For example, try eating a vegetable pizza instead of one with meat on it.

Also, if you start eating healthier now, you will have a better chance of avoiding bad health as you get older (heart problems, cancer, brain function, etc.) . Of course there are no guarantees that you will have good health, but you have a better chance of being healthy if you make healthier choices when it comes to your diet.

Fast food every once and awhile (perhaps once or twice a month) will probably not kill you, but you don't want to live on that kind of food.

As you read books, magazines, etc. about healthy eating habits, keep in mind that some of the information you read may not be reliable, but you will start to learn more and more what information seems reliable and what does not.

Also, you will read conflicting information at times. For example some say that soy is good for you, but others have said that too much soy is harmful. It can get confusing some times, but you ultimately make the decision that you feel is right for you when it comes to the foods you eat.

Talk to you mom about your diet and tell her you want to start eating healthier, and she can give you some tips.

Physical addiction might be harder to achieve, although they can certainly increase the chances of a craving which is part way to an addiction. Psychological addition - sure, as seen by the way some people eat this stuff. I know "low income" is sometimes blamed, but that's total rubbish as I know people on very low income and they don't go to McDonalds every day.

How tall are you? And what's your body fat measurement? Unless you're about 6'3" and in excellent physical condition, 210 lbs IS overweight for most folks. (And if you're only 5'6", you're borderline morbidly obese.)

If you diet is all fast food, get a cholesterol test. The figures should persuade you to stop killing yourself.

you didnt say your age...you wont live long eating this crap..health is not all about weight...

there are many foods that are delicious without having all that trans fatty sat/fats...you need to use your imagination...buy a pizza from the store...put your own ingreidents on it...bake french fries, etc...and, try to make a special day to treat yourself ..to fast food...perhaps every sat..or sunday..

good luck
