for anyone who did track and field back in high school, what were your practices like? like how long, and what exactly did you do, and whether it was different for people who ran different events. i need as many answers as possible. thank you.

It was different for people who ran different events, although all of us warmed up with a long-distance run. I did pentathlon, so I trained for pretty much everything: hurdles, shot-put, triple jump, high jump, 400m... all I really remember was doing a lot on my own, as not a lot of other people were doing the same competitions. I always felt bad for the long-distance runners though - I never had that skill.
It was tough work... really tough. Rewarding though.

practices for track are basically like an hour (for us) and we divide up into sprinters and distance... im a sprinter so we do mainly reps of 100's and 200's the 400 runners usually run just 400's and distance people run miles here. we also stretched before we started its nothing to hard
