OK, Peeps are God's gift to food so pay no mind to what others say. And yes, there is an art form to eating them. First, their bodies must be squeezed. While I realize this has nothing to do with eating them, bear with me, it's all part of the ritual. After lightly squeezing them, (not too hard, don't want to ruin their "figures") then I lick the top of the head to obtain a bit of the lovely sugar encrusting the entire peep. If it's a blue or pink peep, this manuever serves to coat the tongue with a variety of food colors. Mmmmm, marvelous. Then the head is bitten off and savored before the remainder of the succulent Peep is popped into the mouth and devoured with much gusto.

If it's the bunny, I like to chomp off the ears, then the head, and then finish off the body. If it's the chick, I bite off the head, then eat the body. Poor Peeps.

People make art out of them actually. Ever see the food channel. I was watching it once and I saw that people make decorations out of them.
