I was playing dodgeball, at about age 9, and some kid was reaching for a ball opposite of me and grazed my face. Well, not really grazed, because it felt more like a punch, and it knocked out a loose tooth. It didn't hurt much, because the tooth was only dangling by a thread. Don't worry about your son, his teeth were only baby teeth, and his adult teeth will sprout in due time. (if they haven't already.)

Not me, but I actually knocked out my sister's teeth by accident. We were playing golf, and I sliced it to the right. Well, my sister was standing North-East of me, and that was straight where the ball was heading. She ended up with a black eye, and 2 knocked out teeth. We gathered the teeth and put them in water. Later we went to the doctors, she had surgery, and now there back in her mouth.

No, but my father used to SCUBA dive for the fire department. One day he was searching for the body of a 19 year old boy in a lake. The divers hold hands [awww!] while combing the water. My dad hit his mouth on something and it knocked out his tooth. It turned out to be the head of the boy they were looking for.

Sher in van buren: I'm sorry, but for some reason, your answer made me crack up. LOL!

Only once as a child - when I fell on some concrete steps, that was the same day as a plant pot fell on my head (don't ask).

Three times as an adult - first when a door fell on me, as soon as I'd got them fixed I was in an auto accident - not a serious one but I was bending down picking something up off the floor at the time (I was a passenger not he driver). As soon as I was fixed up again I fell flat on my face and hit a rock whilst coming down a mountain. I got fixed up again and so far everything's been fine.
