Uhhh, no... Hitler was an evil egomaniac without fundamental moral principles.
God is a Mystery, when we are closest to those moral values ("it's just the right thing to do"), we are closest to God. Think more along the lines of Buddha.
If you are wondering why God created suffering (like Hitler), we were created with free will. *We* create the suffering (see above). And hopefully, when we suffer, we learn and become more compassionate.
Without suffering, we would never grow as human beings.

In a way I do believe that they are alike. Both apparently made people believe in different things weather they were good or bad, and they both made people do things good and bad. The only difference between them is that we know for a fact that Hitler existed...
