my computer has a trojin virus. The problem is right now I cann't get rid of it for lack of money to buy anti-virus. My boyfriend can still get into his yahoo and hotmail, but I cann't get into mine. I have 74 messages, and even when I put my password and ID in it still won't allow me to do anything. I don't understand why it lets him and not me. I am buying the anti-virus at the end of the month but what can I do for now. Even when I want to order through his e-mail it won't go through. Will I get everything back once I get rid of the virus? or will I loose everything. I'm new to this and unsure exactly what I am supposed to do please help if possible. Thank-You

Use a free anti-virus:

Avast:

Or

AVG:

Both are free and will detect the virus and remove it..

Personally I recommend Avast

If you don't have an anti-virus, exactly how do you know that you have a trojan. Are you just guessing? Your computer cannot just magically inform you that it is infected with a trojan unless you have an anti-virus installed! If your computer is telling you such, then it is adware trying to scam you!

If you use Yahoo mail and read it on the web (no e mail client) then your e mail problem is on Yahoo's servers, it has nothing to do with a virus.

All you are doing is reading your mail on a secure web-site. Contact Yahoo about your e mail problem in this case.

Restart your computer hit f8 while booting, click networking with safe mode, then try viewing your e-mail, other wise you may need to spend money on a anti virius while online.

you don't need to buy an anti-virus, there are plenty free ones out there. go download.com and download AVG anti-virus. its pretty good. also download some spyware removal programs like ad-aware and Spybot Search&Destroy. these are also free at download.com. its best to have more than one cuz they have different registry, so what one doesn't get the other will.
