Unfortunately Im in a school program thing for people with bad behavior and so everyone sucks in my class and no one knows what to do.

I dont have bad behavior but I suck at school basically and I ask questions so dumb that they actually have taken it as disrespect which they will not tolerate. (LOL those gay-a*s teachers)

Anyway to the question, my bussiness studies book has Case-Studies in it, the teacher tells us to write the name of the page we got the case studies from. I copied a case study, handed it in, and got a zero for it because I copied it out of the book.

So now Im confused on what to do.

It sounds like you should ask your teacher exactly what you were supposed to do. From this question it sounds like all you had to do was write a page number or page title down on a piece of paper.

Case Studies involve an as-complete-as-possible evaluation of a current situation. for example: How prepared is a hospital for a certain type of emergency? What all can YOU think of that would need to be considered in such a study? or traffic control? where are the usual traffic bottlenecks? and why?

Case Studies usually support a conclusion that leads to a recommendation for a change in a similar case.

First of all, never copy out of a book. EVER. Plagiarism is a valid reason for the school for failing you in that class or kicking you out completely.

Case studies are a method to investigate a medication, service, disease, etc. They do this by sending out advertisements about the type of person they wish to study, and then track what they are studying over a period of time.

For example, a pharmaceutical company wants to see if a new medication has an effect on migraines. They set up commercials for people who have the criteria of being diagnosed with migraines for a minimum of one year. They then set appointments up with the selected individuals for every month, for a year. They take blood samples or other samples that they need and have the people fill out surveys.

The goal is to see if there is a statistically viable proof for their goal or if there is no relation between the subject and what they are investigating.

If you will send me an email through this system (click on my name) and type in exactly what the teacher gave for an assignment, I will try to help. I will respond with a Word document because I can type faster in it and format better. Perhaps we can figure something out if we work on it a bit.

or you can send directly to molokai_sunset@yahoo.com
