Acceleration is how fast the speed is changing over time
like when you are stopped at a stop light and it turns green your car goes from 0 to 60 in 10 seconds. It is accelerating. When you slow down for the next stop sign you are decelerating

the equation is A=V/T A=acceleration
V=velocity
T=time

and the units are distance/time^2 (ex m/sec^2, or miles/min^2)

3 examples of energy transfer

when you hit a billiard ball into another one and the second one moves the energy has transferred from the first one to the second one. Heating water on the stove energy is transferred from the stove to the water. Listening to the radio the wave energy of the sound wave is transferred to your ear drum to make the sound

wave speed is how fast the energy of the wave moves from one point to another
we will go back to the radio example. When you turn it on if it was loud enough that it could be heard a mile away and you were 1 foot away and your friend was a mile away you would hear it almost instantaneously but your friend would hear it a few seconds later so the amount of time it takes to get to your friend is a measure of the wave speed
