What is strange about this is that you approached social services on advice regarding your daughter behaving in a 'sexualised manner' - rather than a dr or healthworker. In reality, I think the school or nursery contacted the social services regarding your daughter's behaviour which started the investigation against you.
I think your daughter was spoken to and due to her age it has been difficult to ascertain whether this sexualised behaviour is as a direct result of your contact with her or someone elses.
You need to consult a family law solicitor. This person will find out exactly what is going on, how the police are proceeding with the investigation, whether you will be interviewed under caution or not and when, if at all you will be reunited with your daughter. There are so many issues involved in this matter and you need to have them identified and addressed. It is likely that care proceedings may follow and you will obviously want to contest these. First thing on monday, consult a solicitor.

Wow hell of a question. Unfortunately the law is a very complicated subject and the fact that your daughter is very young makes it even more difficult as a witness. The subject of this nature is very tricky to deal with I wouldn't like to be the person who has to make the decision on what to do concerning young children. The trouble is the Social Services may believe they are doing the right thing, they have to be so careful these days because they have been severely criticised for passed mistake and inaction. The Police are in the same position criticised for do to little then criticised for doing too much. It's a balancing act with very serious results if the wrong decision is made. But the very difficult nature of this subject mistakes will continue to happen.

The police acted wrongly by taking you into custody, without investigating first what you said about the neighbor's girl. That's why many responsible parents do not report such incidences of child molestation to the police; because the police immediately go to arrest innocent parents and destroy their reputation.
You must contact a child psychologist (preferably a female), so she can interview your daughter and get the information that the police and Social Services need to finally clear you, get the name of the molester, and get your daughter back.
You must also consult with a lawyer to team up with the psychologist and in search for the truth, and also to help you determine if the police violated your Constitutional Rights, (by what you say, I believe some rights were violated), and the lawyer can make sure that the police investigate your neighbor's daughter.
Don't wait. If you don't have a lawyer you may want to try this number 1-800-LAWYERS. Or contact the Bar of Attorneys in your state. They will refer you to a good lawyer.
As a Special Investigator, we have a responsibility to find the truth.

I am so sorry to hear about your, "situnario", a word I made myself to describe exactly what happens each and every time A DCF agent knocked on my door. My Life partner and I went through, and paid for 11 years of invitro fertilization. They were born early, as most twins are preemies, and I was so happy, this was supposed to be the best time of my life, I am in a nightmare. I feel as if my heart were slashes into pieces and placid in an acid bath.
This is the most horrible thing I can imagine anyone who would so easily and collectively, make an income on the backs of innocent children.
We had our first encounter in November 2012, when I took (baby A) Anthony. To my pediatrician. He was not moving his bowels for long periods at a time. When he would finally evacuate, it was a heart breaking, helpless time. He would scream and writhe! My son was in a pain so hurtful, I assume, I needed to do more than the pediatrician. I checked Anthony into The Joe DiMaggio pediatric center. 11 days went by, watching Anthony in pain. I was also driving back and forth to my home were (baby B) Ronan, also needed my attention. A 70 mile round trip drive. Every day the administrater would ask me if I was ready to take Anthony home; every day I gave him the same answer, "NO"! I know tests have been done, however, I don't have an answer. Finally, he basically kicked us out! Before I came to even starting my car, the woman at home with Ronan called hysterically, Police and DCF officers were looking all through my house and she needed to take all of Ronan's clothes off for photograph's, what was the allegation for what reason? Basically it was a matter of I was exposing Anthony to sicknesses in the Hospital and refusing to be discharged. So, after 11 years of fertility hell. Why would I hurt my children. I, like you believed I was doing right by my children. I beleive my children were "targeted", either at this time of events, or possibly from birth.

I can only presume the matter has been taken to court unless they are just waiting on the outcome of the child protection investigation? You should seek legal advice, as it's difficult to offer any advice without knowing the entire story.

Funny story :) When my daughter was 5 I was watching a tv show and I shouted out, "Oh, she's pregnant." My daughter asked how do women get pregnant. I didn't know how to tell her or how much to tell her so like a fool I said, "I don't know, let's call your grandma." *LOL* her grandmother was not home so I told her that we would have to go to the library because I didn't know. Then, thinking quickly I said, "Well, I think that when a mommy and daddy get married somehow they are able to have a baby, but not until then." She replied, "Oh, I know that, I want to know exactly HOW does the baby get in there." OMG! I was at a horrible loss of words. So I said, "The one thing I do know is that having a baby hurts really bad." I probably shouldn't have told her that but I didn't want her growing up thinking having a baby is a piece of cake. Anyway, we went to the library, I explained to the librarian that my 5 year old and I didn't know how women get pregnant so we needed an appropriate book to tell us about it (winks) the librarian understood and helped us. The irony is my daughter is one of 3 of my children and she never once said, "well, how did YOU get pregnant." WHEW. Dodged that bullet! :)

Be very careful with the Social services. Social Workers will not hesitate,to lie, make false written statements, engage in conspiracies against people they do not like, and the solicitors in the south of England will not take legal action against their illegal activities. The system is all biased in their favour.
Not all are like that but they are not in possession of critical intelligence, so it is not all bad faith, some of it is plain idiocy.
