Well, a woman can get pregnant if she has sex the day before (or several days before) she ovulates. But technically she won't be pregnant until the sperm actually meets the egg. Also, since the egg usually only lives for about 24 hours, a woman probably won't get pregnant if she has sex after she ovulates.

You get pregnant when you ovulate... they say to have sex a day before because sperm can live up to 3-4 days. Ovulation only lasts 12-24 hours, so thats a small window to get it right on the day.

Sperm stays alive for 3 - 5 days. So if you had sex the day before you ovulated then yes you can get pregnant

You can if you have sex the day before your ovulation. Because sperm can live inside for up to a week so if it is there and the egg drops then it can fertilize it.
