Starting in 1976, after the staduim was renovated for two years, how many world series championships have been won by the NY Yankees? How many world series in total have been played there since they came back from Shea Staduim starting in 1976?
What are some of the big moments by any team at yankee staduim since the renovation????
I don't want any yankee bashing; I'm not a NY fan. I need the answers.

Yankees won the series in:

77 (Dodgers)
78 (Dodgers)
96 (Braves)
98 (Padres)
99 (Braves)
2000 (Mets)

Lost the series in:

76 (Reds)
81 (Dodgers)
2001 (Diamondbacks)
2003 (Marlins)

Reggie Jackson hit 3 HRs in one game during the '77 series (also homering in his last at bat of the previous game). Jackson became the only player other than Babe Ruth (who did it twice) to hit 3 HRs in one series game.

The 1976 (Reds) , 1981 (Dodgers) , and 2003 (Marlins) series were all clinched at Yankee Stadium.

The biggest moment occured in 1976 itself... I was at game four of the 76 series. Johnny Bench hit two home runs that night, and I was on the field after the game. But enough about me. LOL

Tom Seaver won his 300th game on August 4, 1985, while pitching for the White Sox against the Yankees, at Yankee Stadium.

Another big moment (by another team) occurred when the Red Sox won game 7 of the 2004 ALCS, becoming the first team to win a 7 game series (in baseball) after being down 0-3.

The truly biggest moment might have actually been in 1976, all kidding aside.

Chris Chambliss' HR in the bottom of the 9th inning in Game 5 of the 1976 ALCS (which was a best of five series) won the 1976 pennant for the Yankees. George Brett had tied the game at 6 with a 3 run HR in the top of the 8th inning. The Yanks won the game, 7-6. Chambliss was mobbed by fans as he circled the bases, and had to knock several fans to the ground in order to finally touch home plate.

There have been 10 World Series played in Yankee Stadium since 1976 with the Yankees winning 6 of them.

Yankees in 6 or 7. A-Rod and Ryan Howard might want to be competing for the MVP. As for pitching, video games a million and 5 might want to be staggering pitching classics. and by no ability having to fret about that pesky go back and forth day; the stadiums are in common words about one hundred ten miles aside (a 2-hour force).
