I would vote for Hillary simply because she's been around longer & we pretty well know how she thinks, also, she'll get much valuable advice from the former prez. Obama, we don't really know him well yet.

Hillary should definitely represent the Democrats for two reasons. First, the Democrats epitomize hypocrisy and short sightedness, and I don't think a person of Barack Obama's good character should wade through that swill.

The second reason is that, if the Democrats nominate Hillary, the Republicans will nominate Condi, and Condaleeza Rice could mop the floor with Hillary. Condi is verifiably much smarter, more educated, better experienced, and would be a much better advertisement for this country. Imagine, how could foreign people dredge up as much vitriolic hatred for the U.S. if the President were a black woman?

So, Democrats.... please nominate Hillary! The Republicans need to keep the White House a little longer.

I think both have strengths and weaknesses. Obama is unqualified. He hasn't served long enough in my opinion, and I prefer some executive experience. On the plus side, he;s extremely bright, has a vision, and is VERY charismatic. Hilary is very qualified, but she cost this nation a health care program. She handled it VERY badly, and that to me is a HUGE strike. I also dislike her support of our Iraq policy. Her big advantage is that she'll have the money behind her. I can also say that I feel nostalgia for having a Clinton in office.

Honestly I think the Democrats with the best chance to win are Richards and Edwards. Richards is the more qualified, but I think Edwards has the best chance to win and unite the nation. I don't think Barak or Hillary really has earned a nomination.

As far as Barak being qualified though, only three Presidents in the last 50 years were trully qualified to hold the position in my opinion (LBJ, Nixon, Bush Sr.), and all of those three certainly made many mistakes. I think you clearly saw how much Bush Lite's inexperience and lack of qualifications impacted his Presidency. Clinton made a lot of errors, especially early, from being overwhelmed as well. Unlike Bush, Clinton learned from his.

No matter what happens, I feel confident that we will have a better executive then what we have now. I don't agree with most of Mcain's positions, but the man is at least competent and admirable. He's a qualified presidential candidate. I can at least respect him. I at least trust Mcain to do what is in the interest of the majority of our nation. I don't trust Bush to do that.

i like a democratic presidential ticket of Edwards-president and Obama-VP

of your two choices, Obama would be the better leader--for the people that say he has little to no experience, experience isn't everything. I suppose those people would like to see Newt Gingrich elected (great guy-leaves his first wife while she's in the hospital recovering from cancer surgery). Obama has enough experience and is a great leader (but i'd still rather see him as the VP at this point in his career)

I think Hillary this time, and once she serves her term Obama should run for president.

Otherwise, I like Obama better than Hillary

I think they should run as a team. Hillary for President, and Obama for VP. Obama lacks experience, and has not been known well internationally. If they win, and he serves as a VP for two terms then he will be ready to run for Presidency.

I disagree with a lot of the things Barak Obama supports...but he seems to be a reasonable person. (Which is rare as hell for a politician nowadays...in either party.) If you disagree with him, he doesn't start shrieking that you're a liar, a racist, or evil.
I would love to see us elect a woman President. Lord knows, she can't be worse than some of the men we've had throughout our history. Look at the last two, for example...a lying perjurer and a bumbling incompetent.
That having been said, I would vote for Saddam Hussein's corpse before I would vote for that Hillary Clinton piece of sh*t.

Obama has been in the public eye about...hmmmm...2 minutes. All we really know about him is that he's a smooth talker, inexperienced and an admitted former cocaine user. As much as I despise Hillary's weakness in dealing with her husband, of those 2 choices, she is the better.
