I'm taking my first college class in college, i havent been to school since i graduated high school. I'm afraid of what I dont know!! So, with this note can someone ease my nerves and explain to me what I should expect for this class?? Thanks!!

It's college algebra (supposed to be easier..it's not).. But it depends on how well u understand the concepts of advanced algebra (it's nothing like high school algebra)... I took it 4 times and failed it every time.. doesn't mean u will.. (am I helping ur nerves).. That is the only class I have ever really dreaded taking.. (college intermediate algebra doesn't help a lot either). Take advantage of the math labs and tutors.. If u are at a small school, it will be easier.Sorry if that's not what u wanted to hear.. BUT u have to have it to graduate so suffer thru it

it isn't that hard. it isn't a very advanced course. it is just your basic math. well, basic college math. it shouldnt be too hard. not a whole lot of work. just make sure that you understand everything and if you dont get help so you dont fall even farther behind.
