My husband and I were married at the Justice of the Peace in Chalmette, Louisiana. We could not afford a big wedding and both came from single parent homes. We could not afford a honeymoon, but made due at our new apartment. My husband also bought me a brand new car right off of the truck as a surprise! Best and only wedding in my life! We have been married for 12 years.

I am still unmarried, but if I marry, I would like to get married during a sunset in a Greek island in one of the small white-washed churches with a blue dome situated at the top of a hill facing the blue Aegean sea.

I got married at my church in a suburban location in a beautiful chapel with large windows on a sunny May day and picked a hotel real close by for the reception so we could take a horse drawn carriage from the church to the hotel. It was very romantic!

I haven't, but I'd love to get married in in Rome or Paris. Those are my fantasy wedding destinations, I'd die to have a wedding there...
