smile one of those self-smiles? Like when you really don't know it but something is so amazing and beautiful it just makes you smile?
Today it snowed--REALLY snowed in NYC for like the first time and first thing when I woke up in the morning I saw little kids and kids from my class having snowball fights and playing in the snow. It warmed my heart and put a smile on my face.

I don't know why, but I found one of those little self-smiles on my face a few minutes ago when I suggested to my two-month-old puppy that she run laps AROUND me, not over TOP of me. Just a lot of fun watching her, I guess.

I agree, I played with my 3 year old out in our first real snowfall today and it was the biggest smile I have had all week.

usually a memory.... I'll see something and it will trigger another memory..
For instance, your snow story.. made me think back to when I was a kid living in IL and would wake up to everything covered in snow...all the feelings of being secure with my dad walking up the hill holding my sled for me.. made me self smile. Thanks.. =)

watching my children as they were really small discovering things around them and the wonderment in there eyes of all the possibilites around them. This makes me smile.
