Just meet your friend when he is not around. don't tell your friend why you are doing it. Ask her to do girly things which he can't or won't want to do and call it a girly day out or girly night.
Don't create any type of tension when the three of you are together because guaranteed, your friend will choose him over you. After all, he gives her something you can't.
I have been in this situation and I know what I am talking about. Love makes people so blind to the obvious. I know it is irritating and there really is no point you even discussing the topic with her. SHE WILL NOT LISTEN!! - if you want her as a friend, meet up with her. Don't discuss this boyf at all!

Take her out to a coffee shop or something and have a chat with her. You never know, by the way your describing him, it sure sounds like he could be using her. I think she might not be too happy at first about what you've got to say, but I'm sure the relationship won't last. If she isn't happy, try to explain to her why he isn't a good boyfriend. Tell her what he's been doing to you. Then she can make her own decision, but you shouldn't be the one forcing her to dump him. For the mean time, stay away from her boyfriend.

I'm sorry this guy is a complete pig. You have to tell her, if he can be this horrible to her friend then he can do it to her as well. Just say that he makes you uncomfortable and you would rather just hang out with her. Even better, arrange times to hang out when you know he'll be busy. Have a girls night in.
Tell her she means the world to you and that you wouldn't say anything if it wasn't really affecting you. Be honest and straight. If she doesn't even listen to you then what kind of a friend is she. People act crazy when someone talks crap about their bf/gf.
Good Luck

Just tell her that you really value her friendship and that you want just that- her friendship not her bf's. Tell her you miss hanging out just the two of you bc you two are the ones who are supposed to be friends not you her and her bf. That would give her bf some time to hang out with his friends too and he would probably like that. If she really values your friendship she would understand and if her relationship with her bf is going to last in the first place there is no reason why they cant part for a few hours so you can spend time with your friend.

Well, the only true way to resolve this situation is to sit your friend down and tell her the truth. And if she is your true friend she will not stop being your friend and choose her man over you, for if she does then your friendship was never really that tight then.

You need to tell this mate of yours how nasty this bloke is. If you two are close mates, do u really think that ur mate would really want a boyfriend who was being horrible to her best mate? I dont think so.
Though if you tell her, dont over-dramatize the situation. Just tell her.

just tell her hey can just me and you hang out sometime like a girls night out...i'm sure she will do that for you...its hard trying to keep a friend when all they care about is their boyfriend...your freinds are really very important...i'm sure you guys have said you would never let a guy come in between your freindship..try and get her to go out with you and just hang out girls night out....because in the end they always chose the boyfriend over the best freind..i've had that happen to me alot...and if he is acting inaproprate with you tell her...she may not belive you but one day she will hopefully

you might want to just back off and maybe she will find out on her own about her bf because that is going to be a very touchy topic between you and her about her man and it might break up a good friendship.
