Obama has been a Christian and a regular churchgoer for many years. So why is the right wing smearing him with lies about his religion?

If you would turn to another news channel other than CNN you'd see that its the Hillary campaign camp that has been doing all the smearing already. Her camp has been doing background checks on Obama, looking real deep.
So why should the Repubs waste their time with the smear when Hillary's camp is doing it for us?.....LOL!

Republicans have no fear of Obama. He will never get by the primary process.
Democrats let blacks vote for them, but almost never let them play and certainly never vote for one.
Look how many minorities and women were in the two Bush administrations and then look at the Clinton administration.
There are NO Republican KKK members in the US Senate, but the Democrats have at least one.

this is exactly why people have to spend 10 years on average running for the presidency, we just know them. This may or may not be true but I can't tell after only four years of office holding???

I mean the reason he didn't vote for iraq folks was because he wasn't in congress, simple huh?

I do not know much about his religion but religion alone does not make you a good person. Obama has voted for not requiring medical for a new baby born alive after an abortion. Does not sound Christian to me. The example he sets for our children in America & esp. our African American children by smoking is horrible. It is not cool to smoke it is dangerous. Last year while in the Senate he bought land at a real deal from a political fundraiser who was under investigation at the time. He admitted this on television & said it was a mistake. This was after he got caught & we knew he had made a mistake. Wouldn't we all like half price land?

Because they fear him. It is party politics. If you can't beat him straight up, you beat him down.

I wish they would all stick to the issues.

BTW, I am not a democrat and I would not vote for Obama but not because of what any "Rightwinger" said about him.

They obviously fear him because he is level headed and intelligent, unlike thier own. Also, he is not hideous looking like almost all of the GOP. They aer just in denial about Bush and need a left winger to degrade.

They will say anything to discredit him. He is good looking, young, smart, sort of black, charismatic, very international, and an inigma. However, I must admit that I am not too fond of the Church of Christ...no dancing and no musical instruments in Church...very Puritanical, almost Islamic.

1. It's Hillary Clintons war machine calling Obama out.
2. Republicans are not the racist party[which party emmancipated the slaves?/which party nominated the first african-amercan Sec. of state?etc...]

Hey sweetcheeks, the repbublicans don't need to smear Obama. This 'leak' has Hillary's fingerprints all over it. Do you really think she would allow a Jr. Senator from the hick state of Illinois to steal her thunder? She is seething that he is actually leading her. Just her little way of trying to 'put him in line' to be her running mate.

I heard it was Hillary's campaign doing it, from another post. I have no clue who did, myself.

However, I am against Obama because he is a globalist, something he would probably not have a problem being called, but which we don't need in any more Presidents.
