I have just had the two worst days of my career. My wife says they are happening for a reason but it does not help. What cheers you up when your job or job related stuff is totally horrible?

When I'm experiencing difficulties in my life, I don't look at them as difficulties anymore. I look at them as opportunities to learn and to grow from the experience. It took me a long time to learn that and a lot of heartache. Pearls are grown from a tiny irritating grain of sand, but if the sand hadn't been there to irritate, the pearl couldn't have grown.

My children. My kids are teenagers now, but once in a while I get to see them perform, or just have an opportunity to sit down with them and just be with them. I ask them what they think about some subject and get their views, and I realize that these guys and their peers will be in charge of the world before long and that's really okay with me.

When hard career blows happen often it is the impetus needed to make big and valuable changes. What changes do you want, and what can you do to take the first step?

Music works for me and making a list of all the wonderful positive things you have in your life. Start with the fact that you have a wife who will listen to you and look at what went wrong and concentrate on doing it better. If you focus on the bad things that happen then you will get more bad things. Agree right now to see things only in a positive light and watch your life change. What you focus on expands...............What you think about you can become! Be happy and think happy positive thoughts. You can change it all just by changing your attitude. Go man you can do it, I know you can!

A challenging project to work in - especially at work.
Maybe you could talk to someone that can help you to find that special thing you can do in your job.
