In my experience, the Trachtenberg Speed Math System is easier and better to learn, but I know others who disagree

The system that is going to be easier or better for you is the method that you can easily remember and apply in actual calculations. Read on them both and cursory learn them. I am sure, AT SOME POINT, you will find one method suits you more than the other. Then use that one.

Too much of a good thing is not necessarily efficient. Why clutter your brain with other systems -say there are ten more out there, yet you can barely remember them is not going to do you any good.

Well I think the Trachtenberg Speed Math System is better because it teaches you about all you need to know about speed math. I know it taught me really well.
