I enjoy doing things, I have 2 budgies who are very friendly with me. I sometimes cant find enough to do to keep myself from getting bored and down. I dont drive, I cant walk far due to medical illness, I just need a few more things to do. I love scrapbooking and making cards watching my own dvds, but you can only do so much of these things. I suffer a lot of annoying continual pain. does anyone have any other suggestions please?

take an online class in something you're interested in

there are endless possibilities and options. I suffer chronic pain myself, and one of the keys I've found is finding activities you truely love.

how bout paint by numbers? Or learn to draw cartoons?
Take a sponge and pour some of the budgie seed on it. Keep it in a shallow dish, a meat tray is good. Keep it watered. The seeds will grow and you will have fresh greens for your bird.
Why not try to make bird treats somehow? I wouldn't know what to tell you to put them together with but like take the bird seed and stick it together somehow and make little sticks for the birds to eat.
How about taking up embossing. That is really nice stuff. It would look great on your cards too.
Stenciling is also fun. You can do that on fabric or walls or paper..whatever.
woodburning
make clocks out of wood
paper mache can get quite interesting
how about sculpy or that kind of stuff
Make a whole bunch of craft stuff and sell it at a fair around Christmas time.

maybe you could decorate your budgies cage or make them a playground with lots of things to keep them amused, get another cage and join it to their original one.
