Hey sweety, don't get your panties in a bunch. Pretty girl like you shouldn't be worrying about serious stuff like this.

Some women hate that stuff, but I personally am not bothered by it when it comes in a respectful manner from my honey or from and old person just being nice. When guys use it loosely as a way of addressing women, I tell them my name isn't "baby" and I'm not sweet enough to be "honey."

It's the men you are associating with, NOT all men. Don't allow this if you don't like it. Don't encourage it; however, usually with friendly talk like you described goes many benefits for the woman as well. Do you really want to forgo the flirting and being treated as a special person?

No. Unlike many of my friends, especially feminist friends I do not care. I think they are for the most part just trying to be nice.

Just tell them not to talk to you like that its annoying and you do not like it Tell them you dont even no me so why are you calling me these names tell them you do have a name and tell them to use it if you want to talk to me.

it gets on my nerves specially if i do not know them if i know them and we are friends or whatever i can let it slide but not when a stranger does it.
