I can help you. DO NOT GET AN ELEMENT dont listen to people that say to get one, cuz the reason they say that is because a lot of pro skaters ride them. All boards coast the same, except Elements. They coast more and they break, chip, snap very very very easily. For a long lasting pop, flip and unbreakible board,(unless you smash it with a hamer lol), get a Zoo - York or a Zero.
For bearings get "Reds". They r very fast and strong, and they r very very cheap. For trucks get any pro trucks except destrocto's. Not that they r bad but they cost a lot and they r preety much the same as all the other ones. I sugjest u get "Ventures" or "Independence". And for wheels get spit-fire.
I Hope I Helped.
Bye

The best board in my opinion, is a minilogo. Its also alot cheaper than all the other decks because there is no design on the bottom, its just a solid color, and the logo.
MINILOGO DECK - 30 Bucks
Then, you need trucks wheels, bearings and hardware,.
TRUCKS- My absolute favorite kind of trucks are Krux. They have a hole drilled in them to make them lighter, and that same hole also makes them alot stronger.
KRUX TRUCKS = 30 - 40 Bucks
WHEELS - My favorite wheels are spitfire, they are very popular and they roll nicely, they also last a pretty long time too
SPITFIRE WHEELS = 25 - 35 dollars
BEARINGS - The only bearings i will ever get, are Reds, i like them because they are very cheap compared to other bearings, and they last for a long time if you take care of them (dont leave your board outside, in the dirt, etc)
REDS BEARINGS = 16 - 18 Bucks
HARDWARE - Hardware isnt really a major when it comes to skating, any brand hardware will do, Iron horse works for me.
IRON HORSE HARDWARE - 1 - 3 Bucks
Usually the grip on top of the board comes free.
BLACK MAGIC GRIPTAPE - FREE
SO.....
MINILOGO DECK - 30 Bucks
KRUX TRUCKS = 30 - 40 Bucks
SPITFIRE WHEELS = 25 - 35 dollars
REDS BEARINGS = 16 - 18 Bucks
IRON HORSE HARDWARE - 1 - 3 Bucks
BLACK MAGIC GRIPTAPE - FREE
Enjoying the time you get on the best thing in the world = PRICELESS (and way worth the money)
GRAND TOTAL = about 90 - 100 bucks (a normal board is about 130- 150 bucks)

There are numerous places to buy a good board, but if you have a skate shop near you, this is the best place to look, because you can have someone right there helping you choose the right parts. This will be slightly expensive, but will be worth the money, due to the fact that it will last longer than a board from other stores.

well i started out weeks ago so i just bought me a speed demon deck which is pretty good, only cost me $56, all though im buying a Flip deck of my friend, i think speed demons is the deck to go, they have good wheels and im doing some pretty good tricks already, and for tricks you can learn off youtube, ive found some great instructional videos, you can also go to your local sports store or maybe at the mall, cheapest is at sports store, malls offer full decks but over $100 around that range
