I need help because my grandma doesnt like the clothing I wear. She's 68 years old and I wear pretty cute clothes. Like polo shirts, shirts, jeans, tennis shoes, and cute blouses but I have trouble finding what type of style do old folks like for teens? I want her to be happy with the way I wear and present myself....

Ask her what she likes and dislikes and why. Get her to talk about her young days and what girls wore then. Maybe she just wants your attention. Look through some magazines or catalogs together.

Modest, flattering clothing. Remember, grandmas learned all the lessons you are learning the hard way. She doens't want you to :
a) make a fool of yourself by wearing flashy, inappropriate, revealing clothing
b) waste your money by HAVING to have the latest stupid fad that will go out of style next week

Most of the older generation just wish young women would take pride in themselves and have enough self respect to dress appropriately and modestly - that means not showing off cleavage, thongs, muffin-tops, etc. Dress your age, and dress with respect for your body and maybe she'll stop frowning.

Let me tell you about older women... My mom is 63. Believe me if you do not put on the granny jean dress with the embroidery and sequins, she will not like your dress. Just dress the way you want to. If how you like to dress is immodest, then you will never, ever please your grandma. Have self-respect and be confident and it will show in what you wear.

Go to elderwisdomcircle.org. There are a group of elder grandma and grandpa types that would love to answer your question. By the way, be sure not to call them old folks, it can be a bit insulting.

I would have a talk with her about clothes nowadays and which styles she likes. She'll appreciate that you asked, and will bring the two of you closer.
