With a lot of my questions I am getting American answers. With words like diaper and mommy. Answer if you are American and give a reason why you respond on uk.yahoo rather than yahoo.com. I like America and went there 14 years ago. God bless America!!!

Well first off thank you for being the most positive person that I have come across about America. I really appreciate that. And I am glad that you had a great time when you were over here. When I graduate high school I plan to visit the UK, it has been something that I have always wanted to do being is that that is where all my ancestors were from. I have also seen many beautiful pictures.....anyway before I get even more side tracked :)
Many times when I am on Yahoo answers I get a list of questions from both the US and the UK.
Other times it is interesting to go onto the other country's sites. At points I have received answers from other people outside Yahoo Answers US too.

At other points I almost feel as though I have to tell some other users that America is not a bad country. (although I can understand why people dislike the government's actions.)

It is also nice though to say hello to our friends over in the UK!

Have a great week and God Bless.

The questions and answers are categorized by language, not location. While you can go to the bottom of your screen and click on the UK or Australia or the U.S.A., you will still find questions posed in English. It cannot be helped. That's the way Yahoo created the site. It is not an exclusive club. If you go to Yahoo Answers Deutschland you'll get questions from Austria and Belgium and Switzerland if German is the language they are written in originally. The same principle applies here. The answers are not American answers. It is the people who reply who are Americans, myself included.

I'm an american and I have no reason to go to uk.yahoo. I really don't care about it at all. What goes on in your british heads is kinda insane (no offense) and I don't have that much time to waste. And what's the matter with words like diaper and mommy? Don't you use those words?

LOL. You could get a complete answer by seeing what sort of questions the Americans are posting.
I tried responding on it, and got more thumbs down than not. I suspect that a lot of people round the world, especially ex-paits and their offspring are on UK answers because it is like communicating with mates from home.

This is Yahoo answers, not Yahoo UK. Hi, I am an American, why don't you come back and visit again, have you been to Texas? There are lots of fun things to do here in the Dallas area, you could ride a mechanical bull, that sounds fun!!

I am an American and I think the sites overlap. I've seen others ask that same question...and I'm on good ol' yahoo.com, not on the uk version. So if you're seeing this, there's one clue for you.

Gee.I am so sorry that I may use words of which you do not approve. At times I get tired of hearing more about Bush, and come to the UK Answers. You know--to expand my horizons. Also,FYI,the questions at times do get intermingled between all the English-speaking YA.(UK,USA,and Australia.)

Because all the YAHOO ANSWERS are connected via the internet. I see your UK questions on the canadian Yahoo site.

I'm more interested with the UK more than I am with my own nation.
