Love again for sure.
Just because something gets broken doesn't mean that even if it is unrepairable it cannot still work to a limited extent.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that even after it has been broken the only way to heal it is to learn to love again, just don't rush in head first and break it worse. Ease into things with a limited amount of your heart and let it be replenished with just enough love to heal it at a comfortable rate.

It makes perfect sense to me. I, at 57 years old, have actually made the decision not to love again because of being heart broken on more than 1 ocassion. The hard part is that I do have the desire but I fear the consequences. It has been about 10years now and at first I actually thought that if I adopted that attitude I could easily handle it. But when opportunities have presented themselves for me to love again, I end up hurting the other person because when they say they love me, I will just leave them. In a sense that makes me the same beast that created this lack of emotion in me in the first place and I always carry a lot of guilt about it. You sound like a younger person than I so I would advise you to give it another try or 2 before turning into what I am.

I've had my heart broken many times and I still would love again. Better to have lost at love than never to have loved at all.

Ouch...um...I think I would be able to love again...but it would not be the same. I have been seriously burned out on love once before, so I am pretty cautious anymore. Being broken hearted is one of the worst feeling in the world...and I could never wish that on anyone.
