It seems to me like you don't need advice. You have a good head on your shoulders. Life is tough. Roadblocks are put in your way to allow you to learn and make you stronger as a person. You have the right idea to concentrate on school and to allow yourself to stay focused. Turning to God should be enough encouragement to you because he's the only one who can actually help. Try and just relax. Candles, bubble bath, or even a manicure would work. Even hanging out with some friends. I am in the same boat as you are right now. I have so much on my mind, but God, my family, and my best friends are what keeps me sane and keeps me focused. Keep up the work in staying focused and concentrating on school. It will help you in the future and never lose faith in God because he's always there to help! Take time away from everything and just relax and breath! Good luck!

Being 16 is tough, Sweetie. Hang in there and know that things DO get better. One thing that might help you is examine HOW you look at things and though they may seem monumental, you make take a whole issue apart and deal with things a little bit at a time. Imagine yourself as your own friend and "listen" to your own troubles. What advice would you, as a "friend", give to yourself. It is a bit like stepping outside yourself and viewing your situation as if it was a stage play unfolding before your eyes. Hopefully, things will not be as awful as they seem. Find a trusted friend AND keep trusting in God and continue praying. Stay strong...

Dear Mrs. Antwon Cooper:
The life of your teenage years are one of many joys and it gives me sincere gratitude to compliment you for staying in School to receive all the education you can.
Your showing signs of lassitude, but do not be tractable by your peers that it strays you away from your goals.
When you graduate from High School and the prom is a most wonderful event. I still think back to my prom days when I showed up in my Lime Green Tux with a Balck satin apparel.
My date also wore a Lime Green dress and we were voted as best looking couple.
Our Prom song was one of the "Seals & Crofts called "We may never pass this way again". It's very true and consequently gave me a very warm feeling.
One day you will look back at your teen years and you want them to be remembered for the greatest moments in time that has lasting memories so start your scrapbook now so that your kids one day should you have your own family will look in that book and cherish their Mother even more.
This is your time, your life and the most important person right now is you. Walk that line Mrs. Antwon Cooper and enjoy your young years.
Keep a good head on shoulders and always be optomistic about your life. God never promised us a "Rose Garden", and I have been thorned many times as I grew up and have seen War that makes me glad to still be alive and wirte to you, but I can at least remember as I have typed here for you tonight that your teen wonder years will stay with you for life.
Enjoy and God Bless You!!

Take a deep breath.Try talking with your parents, counselor at school, a friend, etc. and get this stuff off of your shoulders. You should be having the time of your life now. Not being stressed out, sad, etc. There are people that care about you and would be willing to help you get through this.

You're not alone, lots of teenagers feel overwhelmed trying to deal with stresses and anxieties. If you really can't cope can you talk to friends, a pastor, counsellor or parent? It helps get things in perspective if there is someone to talk to you can trust. The important thing is not to bottle up your feelings. Part of growing up is discovering how to cope with problems, things do get better as you learn coping strategies.

What do you mean people don't understand the stress that teenage girl's go through,do you think you are the only one that has had to be a teenager.I am 34yrs old so I do know what it was like to be a teenage girl. All I can tell you is if you think your life is stressful now you have no clue what stress is.The only responsibility in life that you have right now is to go to school and study and get good grades.Talk to me in another 10yrs about stress. My advice to you is go to school and get good grades so you can get a good job and support yourself. What stress do you think you have right now i would love to hear that answer.Like i said you don't know what stress is try having to work, take care of your kid's,pay the bill's,clean the house ect..then you can tell me you are stressed. The only stress you have in life right now is what to wear to school.
