dont overdo too many things. exp: if you apply dramatic make-up to your eyes, dont put too much blush or lig gloss/lip stick. keep it simple. never wear red lipstick unless you're going somewhere extravagant, like a dance and stuff like that. when you put on eyeshadow, if you want color, only apply ONE color. (no more than one!!) if you were born with long eyelashes, DO NOT use a volumising or lash extending mascara. (you will end up looking like a vegas showgirl). put on a blush that is not too red, maybe a pink if you have light skin, a rosy-pink if you have medium colored skin, and a rose color for dar skin. for your lips all you need is lipgloss if your a teenager. if your a little bit older, a natural colored lipstick with a small touch of red or pink would be nice. and again, KEEP IT SIMPLE!! you can go out and buy magazines too!! seventeen magazine is a great resource to applying make-up.

Use foundation that matches your skin tone. Same thing with powder if you use it - it is nice on your forehead and any oily places to keep the shine away.
Don't bother with blush unless you use a wee little bit and smooth it into your foundation well.
Use earth tones of eye shadow - brown on the eyelid, beige between the lid and the eyebrow.
Use a very thin line of eyeliner on the eyelid only. Do not put any under the eye. Only go about 3/4 of the eyelid to the outside. Don't start right at the nose.
Use a washoff waterproof mascara that doesn't slump and only put it on the upper lashes.

For both day & night looks, well shaped eyebrows really frame your face. Get them professionally shaped and waxed and use a pencil to lightly fill them in. You'll find that you need far less eye makeup.
If you're going for dramatic eyes or lips (like for a party), be sure you pick just one. If you go for a bold eye, choose a muted lip color and vice versa.
Be sure to use a lightweight foundation (I like Stila). Use a large powder brush to brush on loose powder and lightly blend everything.
Last, and best of all: get a hand mirror and check your makeup in natural light.

Hi Sash.
You're a pretty girl right?
Why wear make-up?
Word of advise.... Walk out of the shower or bath with a towel around your head, you wont need make-up.

attempt employing a shimmery pearlescent gold or ivory throughout you lids. Then, note the black eyeshadow with a broom onto your lid. Use a smudge brush to deliver it on your crease. save it sweet and smoky.

Try to apply makeup in natural light. Natural light prevents one from applying too much makeup...and always remember to blend...blend and blend.

Mascara (brown or brown-black, not black), lip gloss (perhaps with a slight tint), concealer (not foundation), perhaps a bit of eyeshadow.
