I think every child deserves to be loved! Whether by their birth parents or by being adopted to a great family. I bugs me when I hear people say that they don't want another person's "problem". No child is ever a "problem", some just might need extra attention!

I agree with you. I have very dear friends who have adopted, once locally and once through another state. The younger child has learning disabilities and they are getting him into programs that will help him, both of these children have wonderful parents because the birth parents cared enough to give them up at birth. One child was given up b/c parents were to young and the other b/c mother could not and did not want to take care of the child. In this case both children get loving parents, siblings, extra attention for disabilities and a great start in life. The birth mothers are sent photos and letters via the adoption agency by the parents, this was not a requirement, just another act of love.

I agree with you to an extent, the only thing I disagree with is that some kids have been in a million foster homes and have gone through so much that they might be more than we could handle and take away from the raising of our birth children. That said, I think all children do deserve a warm, loving, supportive family, and I would definitely adopt to a certain age..

I agree. Babies are so sweet and innocent and deserve and need to be loved right from birth. There is always someone out there wishing for a child of their own. Women out there, If you do not want your baby put him or her up for adoption. Someone DOES want a child somewhere that can not have their own.

All for it. I myself was an adopted child. Even though I was adopted as an infant (9 months), it did bring problems into our family life. So, don't be so quick to say that "no child is ever a 'problem'"

I already have three kids but if I ever was in the position and had more money I would adopt several of them and not the babies either because they can always place the babies..I would adopt between 14 and 18 years old. Help them get their life set and help the get a good start on life so they can take care of themselves.

i think adoption is great. there are many unplanned pregnancies that happen, but there are also a lot of couples who can't have children for whatever reason. adoption benefits everyone - especially the child, who deserves to be in a loving, caring family (biological or not).

Anyone who can not love a child just because its not their biological child shouldn't even have one at all. Adoption is a good way for people to get babies that really want a baby. And Im against abortion so I believe their are enough people out there wanting babies and here some are killing babies. Its just wrong

i totally agree with you 100%. if someone don't want their child they should put them up for adoption so that they can go to a family who would truly love them and look afterthem. they deserve a life and to live life to the full. most people in the world today are too selfish and only think of themselves. it's sad but true.

I was adopted at 3 days old and am very grateful that my biological parents made such a loving choice. I have the best parents a child could hope for.

I think anyone who does that has a heart of gold. I was not born rich but I still have better life compared to the poor and orphants who struggle for food everyday. If only I can afford it, I will adopt animals and kids too. I'm sure one day when my debt is going down I will be able to do that.
