I've found that King does a lot of cross referencing in his novels. If you're an avid reader, you will notice them, if not, it doesn't affect the story.

If you read closely, the entire world that Stephen King has created is all connected. Eyes of the Dragon connects to the Stand, Needful Things and much more... they are all connected, even to the Dark Tower Series.

Read through them again, and notice where Randall Flagg pops up.

many of King's book have references to "The Dark Tower" series.---some are: The Stand, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, Dreamcatcher, Salem's Lot, and the list goes on. It helps to read the Dark Tower series then go back and re-read his other books. Then you will start to see the pattern.

The Dark Tower is like the lynchpin for most of King's works. Try this link if you want to know how everything ties together, but be careful of spoilers. http://www.thedarktower.net/
