Ginza is really good. There's one in Chinatown and one on Beacon Street (right by the St. Mary's Street stop on the C line). I've only been to the Chinatown one but apparently they're the same.

The two best sushi places are by far Fugakyu and Oishii. The only thing they have in common is that their sushi is fabulous. Fugakyu is high class and expensive but is so good and has a nice atmosphere. It's fairly difficult to get in into. Oishii is a tiny sushi restaurant that might just be a little better. It has only one table and it is tough to hear inside but the sushi is the best in town. If you can't get in just take out. Bottom line is that Fugakyu has a better atmosphere etc., but Oishii simply has the best sushi in town.

Oishii on Hammond St. in Chestnut Hill or Ginza on Hammond St. in Chinatown. If you plan on going to Oishii be prepared to wait because it has a huge following and only holds 13 patrons at a time, they are also closed on Mondays. It is worth the wait though, their head sushi chef is of Nobu fame and his unique creations are outstanding. Ginza is also great, plus if you're in the mood for some late night sushi Ginza is open until 4:00AM.

Hope you enjoy.

Oishi. It's on Hammond in Chesnut Hill. Take the D Green Line to Chesnut Hill.
