Totally! Channel4 just exploited the whole issue for their own sick profits and ratings.

I take it you are referring to the Big Brother fiasco.
If everyone had turned over their T.V because they did'nt like what they saw, that would mean that they were condoning the treatment of Shilpa, turning a blind eye to it and saying "As long as it is'nt happening to me, it's O.K".
At least now, maybe with all the controversy that it has created,they will pull the program, and prevent anything like it happening again.
Instead of aiding the program it will hit them financially, as all the sponsors are pulling out.
