Alright I dont understand this.. My girlfriend and I have been going out close to a year now.. Everythings been fine, we've been happy, nothing going wrong, and now out of the blue she wants a "break." She said she still cares about me the same, on a scale 1-10 she said 9 an a half, but she said she doesnt want a relationship right now.. It makes no sense, we still see eachother the same and nothings really different except for the physical part, if she doesnt want sex thats fine but I cant even kiss the girl.. I asked her if were going to get back together again and she said most likely, and she also said she's not looking for another guy.. She's torturing me with this, girls help me out, SHE doesnt even know why shes doing this

Well, sounds to me like your girl is getting used to the routine....why not make it exciting and change a few things around do the opposite of what she would expect, react the opposite: are you passive or dominant?......brew some sparks and sparkle up your relationship....if this does not work don't push it...let her go and don't fuss at least she did not cheat on you and then told you to go and sit on the curb. (wink**wink)

I am not saying your girl did, but most of the time I think that women who say things like that have met someone else and they are trying out the competition. But they don't want to let their man go, so they keep feeding them BS lines to keep them hanging around. They when she finds out whether or not the other guy will work out for them is when you will get your real answer to what is going on with your relationship. I am not saying to dump her, but definitely don't wait around for very long, that will make her think she has you wrapped around her little finger and you will be there forever. Good Luck!

Sometimes peopel need breaks to figure themselves out and to think things thru, and thats probably what ur girlfriend wants rite now. she proabbly isnt sure what she wants in life, if u guys are both young then maybe she feels other things are more importantt in life like school or something. so dont stress it out, if she says she still cares for u thats good, she just isnt ready for a relationship and would liek a break. so give her some time to think things thru nd who noes she mite want a relationship again. good luck!

This does seem odd, but maybe she is just looking for some "her" time. She could be just getting too used to everything being you and her and she just wants some time to think thing's through. I know she has to care about you, but maybe she wants to see what it's like to be just her and not "so and so's girlfriend". No offense to you. Don't worry about it, I know you are going through some pain, but I am sure it will all work out for the best. Let us know what happens. Good luck,

doubtful that it's out of the blue...she's probably been thinking about it for a time. consider her age, what happened in the recent past or whats coming up in the near future. perhaps, you are asking for a detailed account of her time and she feels trapped. you should write a list of questions maybe or just let it slide. if she's still going out with you, why are you feeling tortured if things are a 9 1/2....this leads one to the belief that perhaps you are smothering her. peace

This, my friend, is the typical woman. She probably feels that she is seeing to much of you, or that you're spending to much time together. And quite possibly, it might even be the " physical part ".
It already sounds like you took it too far with her. Give her some time alone, and save the physical stuff for when you get married.. if you do ;)

Likely it's not out of the blue - and very likely she has another interest to pursue - or is pursuing. Don't wait around. If you're avail when she's done with her 'break' then maybe you give it another go. She's trying to eat her cake and have it too. Don't become her "plan b"

Im very sorry to tell you this but 1) there is a problem, and 2) she does know why shes doing this but is either unable to articulate it in her own mind or too you.

yes she does honey she has her eyes on the grass on the other because she thinks it's greener, but she is going to find out its better to keep what you know you have than to go and get what you think you want boy she is getting ready to learn a lesson about holding on to what is good and letting that I think this will be better for me idea where it is.

something might be going on she just might need time to figure things out she probly needs to find out what is going on with her, it is hard to understand but sometime we need time to figure out what is going on just be there for her and try to understand and let her know you are there for her for anything.and that you love her and just listen to her and talk to her about what is confuseing her.
